Protesters for weeks have been agitating for Republican Sen. Cory Gardner to meet with Colorado constituents in a town-hall situation, swarming him at a Colorado Water Congress meeting in January, flooding his offices’ phone banks and tweeting in mass.

They’re probably not going to get a face-to-face with Gardner.

But his communications director on Tuesday said constituents can sign up for a telephone town hall. Spokesman Alex Siciliano said his boss has held regional telephone halls, including one to which about 100,000 Western Slope constituents were invited.

To get on the call list, Siciliano said,  leave a voicemail, tell a Gardner staffer or send an e-mail through the senator’s official website. Gardner’s office tries to let people know about the town halls through multiple channels, including social media, people answering calls, a weekly newsletter and the website, he said.

A list of phone numbers for Gardner’s staff and his nine regional offices, as well as an option to send him an e-mail, is available at gardner.senate.gov. Gardner is on Twitter at twitter.com/SenCoryGardner and his Facebook account is found at facebook.com/SenCoryGardner.
