A group of protesters, some wearing yellow chemical suits and gas masks, disrupted a town hall-style meeting held by Anadarko Petroleum Corporation at the Erie Community Center on Wednesday evening.

Erie police Chief Kim Stewart said that police from Erie and Lafayette responded to the community center, 450 Powers St., at about 6 p.m. and a sergeant and corporal issued a disperse order to the protesters, who remained outside of the community center for a few minutes before leaving.
